Rebecca grew up in the Midlands where she was taught to draw by her two artistic parents. Her love of drama and the human form began while she was studying for her BA Hons in Theatre Design at Wimbledon School of Art.

Rebecca’s paintings have developed through a varied career in the arts, working with some highly creative people on many fascinating projects. She worked with designer Kevin McCloud, and theatre designers Maria Bjornson, Tim Goodchild and Terry Parsons, on projects ranging from sculpting the ceiling of Harrods’ Food Hall to specialist painting for Phantom of the Opera. She has also illustrated ten travel guides for Bradt Publications and worked on BBC productions.

Exhibitions of Rebecca’s work have taken place a Covent Garden gallery, Epsom Playhouse and the London Embassies of the Baltic States. Her paintings of actors in West End shows include Gavin Lee as Bert in ‘Mary Poppins’ at the Prince Edward Theatre, and the cast of ‘Peter Pan’ at the Savoy Theatre.

Currently, Rebecca is exhibiting her dance paintings at ISTD2 in London. The show is the result of working with the exquisite dancers of English National Ballet and also the talented students at Laine Theatre Arts, Epsom.

Rebecca continues to be inspired and moved by her children, striving capture the moments of simplicity that are a part of a child’s world. Her work evokes timeless memories.
